These borrowers come to a private lender, such as Uptown, by way of a Mortgage Agent or Broker and receive real estate secured financing.

If the borrowers are unable to pay, Uptown will proceed with legal action to ensure satisfactory repayment of the mortgage. During this time the Uptown investor will continue receiving their monthly dividend until the end of the investment term.
At Uptown, we provide a General Securities Agreement with your investment, along with a Term Note and security (PPSA) against Uptown Financial Inc.
